Atherian society is governed by the Dialectic of the Hour, a tripartite structure of Seers, Echo-Wardens, and Elders. This system organizes life around questions rather than answers, following the pedagogical belief that a well-framed inquiry carries more wisdom than a poorly understood certainty.

The Chamber of Accord is the institution in charge of hearing and judging cases on major crimes, such as murder, violation of another's bodily autonomy, theft or tampering of memories or identity, and resonance syphoning.

Then after several cycles of call-and-response, a point of harmonic convergence is reached. The chamber begins to hum in a gentle, unified agreement, indicating that the truth had been refined and the offender's "Shadow" had been named.

The resulting consensus was recorded in the Spiral Ledger, documenting every echo that shaped the decision before transitioning to the evaluation of mandated consequences.Atherian punishment is never intended for mere retribution; it is designed for restorative alignment.
