The individual known colloquially as the "Timeline Swindler" was spotted slipping through the salt-marshes of Port Hush late yesterday evening, dragging a heavy hand-cart piled with empty oak crates. He is wanted for high-level mundane fraud in Giltway, where he successfully swindled several tired archivists and scholars into buying wooden boxes labeled as "Timeline Customization Machines."

When cornered at the city gates, the culprit dryly argued that his machines functioned with absolute mathematical precision, advancing their occupants forward in time at exactly regular speed.

He is believed to be attempting to board an outbound Tide-Runner skiff bound for the outer archipelago. Port Watchers have been ordered to inspect all wooden boxes on the piers.
